1. Garlic Chuck Roast
Beef chuck roast (boneless) – 1
Peeled garlic – 15 cloves
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Pepper – ¼ teaspoon
Canola oil – 2 tablespoons
Bay leaves – 5
Thinly sliced large onion – 1
Melted butter – 2 tablespoons
Water – 1-1/2 cup
Baby carrots – 3 pound
Cut 15 slits in the chuck roast using a sharp knife, and insert garlic into these slits. Sprinkle salt and pepper all over the meat.
Add oil and meat in a Dutch oven, and let the meat brown. Drain the oil. On top of the roast, add the bay leaves, followed by onion slices. Drizzle butter over it. Add some water to the pan. Cover with the lid and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degree Fahrenheit.
Baste the roast along with the pan juices, and add some carrots. Cover and bake for 45-60 minutes or until the carrots and meat become tender. Remove the bay leaves. Allow the roast to stand for about 10 minutes, and then slice them.
2. Marinated Chuck Roast
Orange juice – 1/2 cup
Soy sauce – 3 tablespoons
Brown sugar – 3 tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce – 1 teaspoon
Beef chuck roast (boneless) – 3-4 pounds
Take a big resealable plastic bag and combine soy sauce, orange juice, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar in it, and add the roast. Seal the bag properly, and turn to coat the roast well. Allow it stay in the refrigerator at least for 8 hours or overnight.
Pour the marinade in your Dutch oven. Once it reaches a boil, allow it to stay that way for 2 minutes. Add the chuck roast to the pan. Bake it covered for 3 – 3 1/2 hours, or until the meat gets tender. Allow it stay for 10 minutes and then slice it.
3. Lazy Sunday Chuck Roast
Chuck roast – 2- 4 pound
Onion soup mix – 1 pkg
Large red onion sliced into rings – 1
Water – 1 cup
Mashed garlic – 3 cloves
Catsup – 1/2 cup
Olive oil – ¼ cup
Put all the ingredients in a zip lock bag, and allow it to stay in the refrigerator for about 2 to 3 hours.
Take an aluminum foil, place some onion slices, keep the chuck over it, and place the remaining onion slices over it. Create a pouch with the foil with properly rolled edges (to seal). Make sure the shiny side of the foil stays inwards.

Knorr’s onion soup mix – 1 pkg
Beef broth – 1 can
Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup – 1 can
Chuck roast – 1 medium
Put all ingredients in the crockpot, and allow it to cook on low for about 6-8 hours.

Chuck roast – 3 -4 lbs
Lemon juice – 2/3 cup
Salad oil – 1/3 cup
Adolph’s meat tenderizer – 2 teaspoons
Salt – 1 teaspoons
Pepper – 1/8 teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce – 1 teaspoon
Prepared mustard – 1 teaspoon
Onion salt – 1 teaspoon
